The eight questions for Animation, VFX and Gaming

The guided builder asks these, in this order, and turns each answer into a line on the page. Nothing is written that you did not type.

  1. 1.How many shots, assets or levels have you delivered, and on which projects?
  2. 2.What technical target do you hold your work to, such as frame rate, poly budget or render time?
  3. 3.How many titles, films, series or games have shipped with your work in them?
  4. 4.Which specialism do you own on a production?
  5. 5.Which software and engines do you work in daily?
  6. 6.How much did you shorten a pipeline, review cycle or render, and by how much?

  8. 8.Which award, showcase, client or studio brief has your work been selected for?

Words are the easy half

A resume can carry every term above and still be rejected, because coverage says what you know and nothing about what you delivered. The heaviest category on the rubric is evidence: how many of your bullets carry an actual figure.

Seven in ten is full marks. Most resumes we see manage two.
